A favorite SPS tradition is to let loose with the staff after all of the hard work that they put in during the busiest months of the year. Last year, we took the staff to Las Vegas for a night. This year, SPS decided to “double down” with a two-night stay at the MGM Grand Hotel in “The City of Lights” (with apologies to Paris)!
Some of the staff hit the casinos, while others enjoyed the scenic aspects of southern Nevada, touring the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon State Park. On Sunday evening, we all got together for cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres before piling into one long stretch Hummer for the short trip to the Cosmopolitan Hotel for a wonderful meal at the fabulous Scarpetta restaurant. As always, our host and emcee for the evening, managing partner Rick Schenkel, thanked all of the staff for their dedication and extraordinary effort during the previous months.
